At Civic Collective, achieving the outcome matters. So does understanding how we got there.
Every engagement begins with a real challenge.
We use that challenge to ask a deeper question: how does change actually happen in this place?
Rather than assuming we already know the answer, we work alongside our clients or partners to test assumptions, act, reflect on what happens and build understanding through successive cycles of action and learning.
The Learning Ledgers that follow capture that process. They record what we thought might happen, what we did, what actually happened, what surprised us and what we learned about how change happens in that place. They are not polished success stories or post-project reports. They are records of inquiry, reflection and learning that continue to shape The Compass and our practice of Civic Intelligence.
